Is ELDT.IO legit? Check for yourself.
ELDT.IO is registered with FMCSA under the legal name Kris Naz, LLC. You can verify this yourself on the federal Training Provider Registry at tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov, and check your own completion record there too. Never just take our word for it.
Verify the provider
- Go to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry: tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov.
- In the Provider Name field, type Kris Naz, LLC. That is the legal business name behind ELDT.IO. Make sure the Online tab is selected at the bottom.
- The result shows ELDT.io listed under Provider Name: Kris Naz, LLC. That is us. Click Show More to see the full endorsement list.
What you see when you search the FMCSA registry for Kris Naz, LLC, our legal business name.
If a provider is not on that registry, their course does not count, no matter what their site says. FMCSA has removed thousands of providers from the registry in recent years. Always verify before you pay.
Verify your own completion
- Finish the course and pass the assessment at 80% or better.
- We report your completion to the registry immediately. The rule allows providers until the end of the second business day. We do not wait.
- Your state DMV checks the registry electronically before your CDL skills test or hazmat knowledge test. There is no paper certificate to bring.
- Log in to your ELDT.IO student account to see the date and time your completion was submitted to FMCSA.
- Or check it directly on the official government registry any time at tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov/check.
Tip: the FMCSA site can show stale results if your browser cached an earlier search. Reload the page or clear the cache before assuming a record is missing.
What "FMCSA registered" means and what it does not
FMCSA does not approve, accredit, or endorse training providers. Providers self-certify that they meet 49 CFR Part 380 and are listed on the registry. FMCSA audits and removes providers that do not comply. So "FMCSA approved" is a marketing phrase, not a status. Registered is the accurate word and it is the one we use.
The person behind this site is named, with a public work history: Christopher F. Nesbitt, Sr., Class A CDL since 2007. Email info@eldt.io with any question and you get an answer from him.
Common questions
Is ELDT.IO a legitimate training provider?
Yes. ELDT.IO is listed on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. Verify at tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov by searching for ELDT.io under online providers.
How do I know FMCSA received my completion?
We report the moment you pass. Log in to your student account to see the submission timestamp. Your state DMV checks the same registry before your test.
Does my state DMV need a paper certificate?
No. The registry record is what counts. Your DMV checks it electronically. There is nothing to print or bring.
What if I cannot find my completion on the registry?
Reload the FMCSA page. Stale browser cache is the most common cause. If it still does not appear within an hour of passing, email info@eldt.io.
Is ELDT the same thing as an ELD?
No, and the two get mixed up a lot. An ELD is the electronic logging device that records your hours of service once you are driving. ELDT is the training you complete before you ever get behind the wheel. Different rule, different purpose, nothing to do with each other.
